Heramb Group meets Nigerian Export Promotion Council officials to grow exports

The Heramb Group trade desk met officials of the Nigerian Export Promotion Council in Abuja to discuss practical steps for growing Nigeria's agricultural exports. The discussions covered sesame, soya, cashews, hibiscus, shea and groundnut, with particular attention to products that can reach Asian and European markets at scale.

Both sides reviewed opportunities to strengthen farmgate aggregation, quality compliance, traceability and export documentation. Heramb Group also shared buyer requirements and the operational issues that can affect shipment readiness at Lagos and Onne ports.

The engagement forms part of Heramb Group's wider commitment to building durable origin relationships in Nigeria. Follow-up work will focus on supplier development, product sampling and matching export-ready Nigerian businesses with suitable international demand.
