Gum Arabic

Hashab & Talha grades from the Sahel acacia belt.

The Sahel acacia belt across Sudan and Chad supplies the world's gum arabic. We source from the village-level harvester upward.

Gum Arabic

Why this origin.

Heramb has built direct relationships with the gum collectors of Kordofan and Darfur and runs a parallel sourcing line through Chad. This gives buyers a credible alternative when Sudan's logistics tighten.

We offer both food-grade Hashab (E414) and Talha for industrial applications, with full INS / CODEX documentation.

Grades we offer

  • Hashab — Hand-Picked Selected (HPS)

    Acacia senegal, pale amber nuggets

  • Hashab — Cleaned

Mechanically cleaned grade for food industry

  • Talha

    Acacia seyal, darker industrial-grade

  • Spray-Dried Powder

    Available on indent
