Heramb Group partners with ECX Ethiopia to develop new export products

Heramb Group has entered a long-term collaboration with the Ethiopia Commodity Exchange (ECX) to develop new agricultural product lines for export from Ethiopia. The programme will initially focus on expanding washed and natural coffee grades alongside Humera and Wollega sesame volumes for established buyers in Asia and Europe.

The collaboration brings together ECX's market infrastructure and quality systems with Heramb Group's origin procurement, export execution and international distribution capabilities. The parties will work with local suppliers to identify consistent export parcels, strengthen quality control and improve the commercial route from warehouse to destination.

Heramb Group expects the programme to broaden the range of Ethiopian products available to its customers while supporting reliable, long-term demand for origin partners. Product development and buyer sampling will be carried out in phases, with commercial shipments following successful quality approvals.
